The Earthdawn Adventure Resource Contest

RedBrick LLC is planning to expand its website with a free online resource for Earthdawn gamemasters. We intend to offer Adventure Frameworks for use in your Earthdawn games, edition independent (meaning there won’t be stats, just stories).

Legends and Heroes Open Call

As a reminder: due to the changes in our publishing plans, the Legends and Heroes Open Call for Writers has been reopened earlier this year and will continue throughout 2010. Time to get your keyboards out! Previous entries will remain valid, but you can of course update and resubmit them as you wish. Here are the details:

We are planning to publish a new supplement for the Earthdawn Third Edition game: the Legends and Heroes sourcebook. The intent of this book is to offer players and gamemasters insight into the legends told among the people of Barsaive and the bold tales of the heroes walking the earth, fighting Horrors, and wielding legendary magical treasures. This book will also provide suggestions for creating adventures based on each of the legends and heroes presented, and will include game statistics for use in your campaigns.

Namegivers and Nations Update

Namegivers of Barsaive is now available as eBook. The Namegivers of Barsaive book is the secret fifth core rulebook for the Earthdawn Third Edition game line. While its contents are optional, the book adds detailed and invaluable information about the Namegiver races, adding depth and complexity to the game setting by helping each of these distinct cultures come to life.

Earthdawn Character Toolkit

As a small update between new books, we present you with a free download: the Character Toolkit for Earthdawn Third Edition!

The Character Toolkit offers optional rules for character creation and movement, character conversion rules for those of you wanting to switch from Earthdawn Classic, and guidelines on how to build adepts from previous editions using ED3's Talent Options.
