SUBMISSIONS

RedBrick LLC is planning to expand its website with a free online resource for Earthdawn gamemasters. We intend to offer Adventure Frameworks for use in your Earthdawn games, edition independent (meaning there won’t be stats, just stories).

To build up the Earthdawn Adventure Resource, we are running this contest. Everyone can participate. Please read the following guidelines very carefully before submitting. Submissions that do not conform to the guidelines cannot be accepted!

RedBrick LLC is planning to publish a new supplement for the Earthdawn game: the Legends and Heroes sourcebook. The intent of this book is to offer players and gamemasters insight into the legends told among the people of Barsaive and the bold tales of the heroes walking the earth, fighting Horrors, and wielding legendary magical treasures. This book will also provide suggestions for creating adventures based on each of the legends and heroes presented, and will include game statistics for use in your campaigns.

Since this is an open call, everyone can participate. Please read the following guidelines very carefully before submitting. Submissions that do not conform to the guidelines will not be accepted!

The Submission Handbook gives an idea on how we work and is intended for use by anyone interested in creating materials for our product lines and those interested in becoming a playtester.

As we grow, the writers and developers here at RedBrick are going to look to you—the fans, players, and gamemasters—to help us realize our collective vision for our diverse and captivating game systems. With this Submission Handbook, we invite you to send us your ideas for adventures, sourcebooks, novels, articles, and artwork.

You have an idea for a book that you think other fans might like to see?

Great. Fanwork is our lifeblood. While a lot of projects start as ideas of our own, fan work makes up the bulk at the moment. For example, Ardanyan's Revenge and Church Fiefs were not commissioned, it's 100% fan work, and were our first original products for Fading Suns and Earthdawn.

RedBrick has a framework in place that can develop fan ideas into viable products that are quality-checked, laid out and illustrated; we provide editing, feedback, and development when we see the need for further development. The team will come up with great ideas about how to improve the text. Plus, honest, it's fun.

However, we are making a huge commitment in time and resources, so to ensure that we all get the best product and move forward, we need to have a procedure in place.
