This is perhaps the most frequently asked question in regards to our revision of the game. This article intends to keep you up to date and help you answering that question.
  Player's Guide & Companion
The Player's Guide and Companion revise and expand virtually all material from: Earthdawn First Edition, Earthdawn Companion, Magic: A Manual of Mystic Secrets, Arcane Mysteries of Barsaive, The Adept’s Way, and material from all of the Game Information chapters found in the original sourcebooks. If you update to these rules, you will still be able to use your old sourcebooks, because our core books contain revisions for all of the game's mechanics!

  Gamemaster's Guide & Companion
The Gamemaster's Guide and Companion revise and expand virtually all material from: Earthdawn First Edition, Earthdawn Gamemaster Pack, Earthdawn Companion, Earthdawn Survival Guide, The Barsaive Boxed Set, Creatures of Barsaive, Dragons, Horrors, and material from all of the Game Information chapters found in the original sourcebooks. If you update to these rules, you will still be able to use your old sourcebooks, because our core books contain revisions for all of the game's mechanics!

 Namegivers of Barsaive
Namegivers of Barsaive revises and expands all material from Denizens of Barsaive Volume One and Two, the Disciplines out of Magic: A Manual of Mystic Secrets, the Earthdawn Journal, and the Horrors sourcebook. The book also includes a lot of new material and a new Discipline. There are fifteen new Disciplines in total in this book, new talents and talent knacks, new Goods and Services, as well as special rules for playing each race. Nations of Barsaive Volume One: Throal revises and expands all material from the Throal: The Dwarf Kingdom sourcebook.  Shards Collection Volume One
This book includes the Shards Journey to Lang [RBL-700], Runvir's Tomb [RBL-701], Kept in the Dark [RBL-702], Pale River [RBL-703] , and Tournament Troubles [RBL-704]. Journey to Lang originally appeared as part of FASA's demo pack for Earthdawn, and has been adapted for use with the Player's and Gamemaster's Guides. Runvir's Tomb was originally published in the Earthdawn Journal under the title Search for Wisdom, but has seen a major revision and includes a lot of additional material. Pale River originally appeared as part of the Throal Adventures book, and has been adapted for use with the Player's and Gamemaster's Guides.
